GreenShield Specialty Pharmacy Billing Expert

Make a difference at Green Shield as a Specialty Pharmacy Billing Specialist. This role is key to assisting patients with their billing inquiries and coordinating with support programs.

As a billing expert, you will manage patient accounts, coordinating payments, and addressing billing issues from the outset. Utilizing Kroll software, you’ll support Retro-billing efforts and ensure all billing processes are optimized for efficiency. This role helps reinforce Green Shield's commitment to health equity for all Canadians.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and track patient accounts receivable

• Organize co-pay submissions using Kroll

• Reconcile payments received from patients and PSPs

• Support Retro-billing and invoicing for medication

• Optimize and streamline claims submissions

Requirements:

• Over 5 years in a Specialty Pharmacy environment

• 3+ years in pharmacy bookkeeping or invoicing

• Familiarity with PSP and insurance payment mechanisms

• Strong skills in patient communication and follow-ups

• Knowledge of navigating provincial healthcare plans
