The Technology Product Management Lead Product Owner is a strategic professional who will lead the definition and delivery of product capabilities within the Risk and Controls domain, with a strong focus on Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and monitoring and testing platforms. The role requires hands‑on experience working in Agile environments, partnering closely with business, risk, compliance, and technology teams to translate control and regulatory requirements into scalable, well‑designed product solutions.
This role operates across multiple Scrum teams, requiring strong dependency management, early identification of risks, and effective coordination across platforms and stakeholders.
Experience with AI‑enabled capabilities is a strong plus, though not a mandatory requirement.
Responsibilities
Own the product / value stream vision which will be the north star for driving strategic outcomes for the Scrum Team(s) supported.
Own and manage the product backlog for risk and control capabilities
Inspire the team to deliver upon the goals.
Lead the product functional design process and story mapping, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization activities.
Work in an agile environment by continuously reviewing the business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and identifying opportunities and risks.
Create features and functionalities which enable achieving business goals by collaborating with stakeholders.
Create and own the product backlog prioritizing features which enable maximizing the business value.
Facilitate backlog decomposition sessions with the technology teams to clearly define requirements from a user perspective, inclusive of acceptance criteria breaking down large stories for the team to consume in one sprint.
Partner with the technology team to break down large stories based on estimation.
Participate in the testing /review sessions and provide support for release.
Accept work completed by the team prior to release to production.
Identify and manage cross-team and cross-platform dependencies early in the delivery lifecycle.
Proactively highlight delivery risks, data dependencies, and integration challenges, and work with stakeholders to drive timely resolution.
