• Gathering Engage with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for digital asset and blockchain payment initiatives.
• Translate complex business objectives into clear functional and nonfunctional requirements.
• Develop process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and target operating models for blockchain based payment use cases.
• Emerging Payments Strategy Solutioning
• Analyze market trends in CBDCs, stable coins, tokenized deposits, cross border crypto payments, DeFi protocols, ISO 20022, and real time settlement models.
• Support strategic assessments on new payment rails, blockchain platforms, and ecosystem partners.
• Identify opportunities for innovation, operational efficiency, and client value creation using digital asset-based solutions.
• Technical Functional Collaboration Work with engineering, architecture, and product teams to evaluate
• Custody, key management, and settlement frameworks
• Participate in solution design workshops, ensuring business needs are represented.
• Risk, Compliance Regulatory Alignment Collaborate with compliance teams on regulatory considerations related to Digital assets, AMLKYC, FATF Travel Rule Securities and payments regulations
• Data privacy and cybersecurity controls
• Conduct impact assessments for new regulatory updates affecting blockchain or digital asset payments.
• Testing, Validation Implementation Support Develop test cases, user acceptance criteria, and support UAT cycles.
• Partner with technology teams to ensure solutions meet business expectations.
• Track defects, coordinate remediation, and support golive readiness.
• Documentation Reporting Create business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications (FS), process maps, and workflow diagrams.
• Prepare executive summaries, dashboards, and project updates for stakeholders.

• Required good years of experience as a Business Analyst in Payments, Fin Tech, Banking, or Financial Services.
• Strong understanding of emerging payment technologies, including Digital assets crypto currencies Stable coins CBDCs Blockchain distributed ledger technologies Tokenization frameworks.
• Proven experience in translating business needs into functional requirements.
• Skilled in documentation tools (Confluence, JIRA, Visio, Figma, etc.).
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Preferred Knowledge of ISO 20022, SWIFT gpi, real time payments, and cross border remittance flows.
• Experience with blockchain platforms (Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, Corda).
• Familiarity with smart contracts, custody models, and blockchain security concepts.
• Certifications such as CBAP, CSPO, CSM, Blockchain certifications.
