TD SYNNEX Canada is seeking a skilled and proactive Business System Engineer to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. You will play a crucial role in analyzing, designing, and implementing complex business systems to optimize operational efficiency and drive strategic initiatives within our dynamic organization.

Job Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with various business units to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and system designs.

* Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of new business systems and enhancements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.

* Perform in-depth analysis of existing systems, identifying areas for improvement, standardization, and automation to enhance performance and user experience.

* Act as a subject matter expert for assigned business systems, providing technical guidance, support, and training to end-users and stakeholders.

* Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including functional specifications, technical designs, user manuals, and training materials.

* Manage project lifecycles from conception to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting on progress to stakeholders.

* Conduct system testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.

* Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, collaborating with IT teams and external vendors as needed.

* Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential application to improve business processes and systems.

* Contribute to the continuous improvement of system engineering processes and methodologies.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business System Engineer, Business Analyst, or similar role with a strong technical focus.

* Proven experience in gathering requirements, system design, development, and implementation.

* Strong understanding of various system development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).

* Proficiency in data analysis and modeling tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Visio).

* Experience with ERP, CRM, or other large-scale business applications is highly desirable.

* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

* Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) in both English and French, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

* Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

* Experience with cloud-based platforms and technologies is a plus.

* Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMP) are considered an asset.

Rémunération

La rémunération annuelle réelle offerte sera déterminée en fonction de plusieurs variables, notamment la localisation géographique, l’expérience de travail, la formation ainsi que les compétences et réalisations. Elle sera convenue mutuellement au moment de l’offre. La rémunération moyenne pour ce poste se situe entre 60 000 $ et 90 000 $ CAD
