Position Overview
You as a Senior Infrastructure And Backup Analyst will

Architect and maintain hybrid infrastructure solutions, spanning on‑premises data centers and Azure cloud environments.

Support and enhance the enterprise Windows Server estate (2019–2025), including lifecycle planning, patching, hardening, and modernization.

Implement and manage immutable backups, ransomware protection, and cyber recovery capabilities aligned with security and risk management requirements.

Act as a senior technical escalation point and provide guidance to Infrastructure Operations teams.

Monitor backup, storage, and infrastructure health, capacity, and performance; analyze trends and recommend continuous improvements.

Own and continuously improve enterprise backup, recovery, and cyber resilience strategies, ensuring data protection across on‑premises and cloud environments.

Design, implement, and maintain backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions using Veeam, AvePoint, and Commvault.

Lead disaster recovery planning, testing, validation, and continual improvement, ensuring recovery objectives are clearly defined, achievable, and well documented.

Collaborate closely with Security, Cloud, Network, and Application teams to ensure integrated, resilient, and supportable solutions.

Participate in architecture reviews, infrastructure planning initiatives, and technology evaluations.

Develop, maintain, and enforce infrastructure, backup, and recovery policies, standards, and procedures that support auditability, consistency, and operational excellence.

Create and maintain high‑quality technical documentation, including system designs, backup configurations, operational runbooks, DR plans, and recovery procedures.

Maintain a strong attention to detail, ensuring documentation, configurations, and operational processes are accurate, validated, and kept up to date.

Support audits, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives related to infrastructure resiliency, data protection, and recovery readiness.

Identify opportunities to standardize, simplify, and automate infrastructure and backup operations using scripting and tooling.

Is this the right role for you?

University degree or college diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

8–12+ years of hands‑on experience in enterprise infrastructure and backup roles.

Strong experience administering Windows Server environments (2019–2025).

Proven experience with Veeam Backup & Replication; experience with AvePoint and Commvault is a strong asset.

Deep understanding of enterprise backup, replication, disaster recovery, and cyber recovery concepts.

Experience operating in hybrid infrastructure environments (Azure + on‑prem).

Hands‑on experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V).

Solid understanding of enterprise storage technologies (SAN, NAS, Object, and cloud storage).
