Take charge of PC support as a PC Support Technician at Manitoulin Transport. Address technical issues for end users while optimizing the IT environment in this in-office role.
This position involves troubleshooting and resolving daily technical challenges, tracking incidents through a ticketing system, and supporting users with Microsoft and custom applications. You will also assist in training staff on new software and perform hardware maintenance to ensure system efficiency. Collaboration with the Infrastructure team may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Resolve daily technical issues for employees
• Utilize ticketing for tracking incidents and resolutions
• Troubleshoot and perform hardware upgrades on devices
• Deliver training on applications and create helpful guides
• Collaborate on team initiatives and projects
Requirements:
• Completion of a college diploma with minimum 2-3 years experience
• Strong skills in network PC setup and maintenance
• Proficient troubleshooting Microsoft Windows and Mac environments
• Availability for flexible hours and on-call work
• Experience in maintaining asset and system records
