Job Description & How to Apply Below
If you have an ownership mindset and naturally take responsibility for fixing what's broken instead of waiting to be asked - this is your kind of work. You'll shape how critical data drives decisions across the whole organization, lead a sharp team, and partner directly with the people running the business.
What you'll do Lead and grow the global MDM function across North America and Europe
Manage and mentor a team of MDM Analysts, building a culture where people collaborate and keep improving
Build scalable data governance frameworks—and make sure the rules for creating and managing master data are clearly defined, documented, and actually followed
Partner with ERP, IT, and business stakeholders to support system rollouts, integrations, and growth
Own governance and quality across customer, supplier, product, financial, and operational master data-including BOM (Bill of Material) and material master
Set the KPIs, reporting metrics, and SLA tracking that keep stakeholders informed
Spot the bottlenecks and automation opportunities-including RPA-that make the team faster and the data cleaner
Watch for data quality trends, dig into the root cause of issues, and drive fixes that last
Work across teams to name data owners and make stewardship accountability stick
Support enterprise initiatives across ERP ecosystems, data readiness, and process standardization
Help a growing global governance program mature-with real say in where it goes
Travel to European locations occasionally, as needed
What you bring 10+ years in data management, master data management, metadata, or related enterprise data work
A track record leading data governance or MDM teams across global or multi-site environments
A strong operational mindset-happy in the day-to-day, without losing sight of the bigger picture
Real ERP integration depth, with hands-on time in JD Edwards, SAP, Dynamics 365, or Business Central
A solid grasp of core ERP processes, including BOM (Bill of Material) and material master
Strong database knowledge-Oracle and SQL Server
Hands-on experience with MDM and data quality tools, ideally Informatica IDQ
Experience building data quality processes, governance standards, and clear master data rules from the ground up
A good handle on data stewardship, ownership models, and the full governance lifecycle
Comfort building dashboards and reporting in Power BI, Tableau, or similar
A sharp eye for inefficiency-and the drive to fix it through scalable improvement and automation
Communication and stakeholder skills that work across technical and operational teams alike
Bonus points for manufacturing, ERP transformation, or M&A data integration experience
Comfortable in a highly collaborative, fully onsite environment
