Become a Junior IT Helpdesk Technician at Spectrum's Mississauga office, providing vital first-line technical support. Assist end-users with a range of hardware and software issues efficiently.
In this on-site, full-time position, you will handle helpdesk tickets, offer Level 1 support, configure software, and manage user accounts. Shift rotations will include diverse hours, requiring nighttime and weekend work.
Your role will be crucial in maintaining a high level of service for all Spectrum employees.
Key Responsibilities:
• Answer incoming helpdesk requests via various channels
• Monitor and manage IT Helpdesk tickets
• Provide comprehensive Level 1 support for users
• Setup software and mobile devices as needed
• Document support interactions using management tools
Requirements:
• Degree in IT or relevant work experience
• Minimum 1 year in a technical support role
• Proficient in MS Office
365 and mobile device applications
• Knowledge of networking, Windows OS, and security practices
• Strong customer service and communication skills
