Volunteer Placement Overview

Role Overview
Design and implement a data architecture and governance framework for Fundacion wwb Colombia, aligning with existing CRM and information systems.
Responsibilities- Design an architectural framework for platform integration, translating technical assessments into a high‑level data architecture that integrates the CRM with current silos.
- Develop a cross‑cutting data capture model that minimizes operational burden on field teams and eliminates the use of Excel as a database.
- Standardize and normalize 3,057 identified variables, focusing on the 80% that require wording adjustments.
- Automate the data‑capture‑to‑audit chain by designing validation rules to replace manual processes.
- Develop a roadmap for analytical scalability, transitioning from static reports to advanced predictive models and AI.
- Define a governance framework with roles, responsibilities, and automated quality controls to replace manual contact‑with‑participants processes.
- Professional background in Economics, Statistics, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5years of experience in operational implementation of information systems, data management, data quality assurance and analytical support in medium or large organizations.
- Experience designing and managing data capture and storage systems for analysis, visualization, and process automation.
- Experience developing relational data maps, structuring beneficiary information systems, and creating modular data collection tools for reliable monitoring and decision‑making for social programmes.
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in analysis, information technology, and operations to support data standardization and improve workflows.
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems, digital forms, relational databases and platforms such as Google Workspace.
- Experience working with NGOs or social impact projects, especially involving vulnerable populations and sensitive data.
- Skill in translating technical guidelines into clear operational processes for non‑technical teams.
- Strong organizational skills, clear communication, operational problem‑solving, process supervision and monitoring, and a collaborative mindset.
