Role:
Microsoft Developer  As a member of the IKO ERP Development team, the Microsoft Developer will be responsible for designing and developing solutions using X++ in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, as well as extensions in Dynamics 365 Business Central. This role involves analysis, coding, debugging, and supporting the global instances of both Dynamics 365 F&O and Business Central. The position requires a strong understanding of both the project lifecycle and the software development lifecycle.

The developer will collaborate closely with cross‑functional technology teams, Business Analysts, end users, and IT project leadership to ensure that key business requirements are delivered on time and with high quality.
Compensation  Salary range: $84k - $97k (for roles based in Canada).
Responsibilities   Building Power Apps (Canvas and Model‑driven apps) integrated with Dynamics 365 and Dataverse
Develop Power Automate flows for approvals, notifications, data synchronization, and ERP automation.
Implement business rules, validations, and workflow automation.
Perform analysis and effort estimates for the development tasks and projects.
Coordinate and test interfaces with external systems.
Identify and resolve system issues to optimize performance.
Monitor and respond to development requests and issues logged onto the Service Desk.
Coordinate with external vendors for logging and reporting issues.
Manage extension deployment across sandbox and production environments.
Deploy solutions using Azure Dev Ops pipelines and managed solutions.
Create and extend Forms, Tables, Data Entities, and Reports (SSRS).
Develop and maintain AL extensions for Business Central.
Support integrations using OData, REST APIs, and Data Management Framework (DMF).
Develop extensions following Microsoft best practices (no over‑layering).
Integrate Power Platform solutions with Azure and existing systems.
Develop and configure D365 BC/F&O applications to meet business needs.
Develop and support Jet Reports for BI and data analytics.
Collaborate with functional teams to implement stable and scalable solutions.
Review requirements and development proposals.
Qualifications   5+ years of experience in Dynamics 365 and Power Platform development.
Experience working in enterprise or global ERP environments.
Exposure to ERP implementations, upgrades, or cloud migrations.
Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (X++).
Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central (AL).
Strong experience with Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven).
Strong experience with Power Automate.

Experience with Dataverse Data / REST APIs.

Experience with Azure AD / Entra n.
Understanding of ERP business processes (Finance, SCM, Operations).
