Position Summary
The Senior Manager, E-commerce Platforms, will lead and oversee the digital merchandising team, responsible for managing key divisions and ensuring seamless coordination across all areas. Incumbent is tasked with managing Canadian content in both English and French for , including B2C, Business sites, EPP/SMB, and Shop App, focusing on new product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns. Serving as the liaison between HQ teams and internal departments such as Marketing, Sales, Legal, Service, and the E-Commerce team is crucial for this role.
Additionally, the eStore Online Platform team will enable Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) purchase functionality on , managing pricing, promotions, and product availability. The role also involves facilitating the omnichannel experience between and offline Samsung Experience Stores. This position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and cross-functional collaboration skills to drive the success of Samsung's e-commerce platforms in Canada, ensuring a cohesive and engaging customer experience across all digital touchpoints.
Responsibilities- Oversee new Product Launches and content updates for MX, CE, IT, B2B/EPP/SMB and corporate pages. Manage the Operations Budget including Publishing, Translations, and Integrated Vendor partnerships. Manage e-commerce budgets including PZN and integrated vendor costs.
- Own and responsible for merchandising & strategy the most important division while managing all divisions with team.
- Develop and execute the s.com merchandising & strategy to support sales and promotional initiatives for DtC business including but not limited to:
Homepage, Navigation, Category pages, sub-category pages, Filter Pages, Product pages, New content Pages, Offer Pages, Campaign Landing Pages, Cart and Checkout. - Strategic planning of promotional and seasonal campaigns with a focus on optimizing the user journey towards order conversion.
- Manage the collaboration of the internal online teams, agency partners and HQ stakeholders to ensure on-time product launches and seamless go-to-market execution.
- Manage the Conversion Rate Optimization and Personalization team and testing strategy within Successful implementation of learnings to optimize conversion rate and achieve target revenue goals.
- Management of Online to Offline processes including Reserve online pick up in store and Endless Aisle.
- Responsible for reporting web analytics, launch and campaign performance while striving for conversion rate YOY growth targets. Work with Digital Marketing team & Digital product development team to ensure user journey is tracked end to end. Own the user journey on from entry to checkout. Provide strategic guidance to internal stakeholders regarding the digital content throughout the journey.
- Responsible for .COM/eCom information accuracy and site proofing within team or working with a vendor.
- Responsible for site stability and error-free, especially pricing and campaigns.
- Manage agency and vendor partnerships considering our web publishing team on the side as well as our IT support and development team on the e-commerce side.
- Collaborate with e-commerce operations team and HQ DtC team to submit, review and approve enhancements to the platform. Manage enhancement proposals, testing and launch.
- Primary point of contact for HQ GMO AEM/Platform team for new platform/AEM developments to the site as well as any troubleshooting escalations. Manage platform escalations and work with global teams to resolve according to SLA.
