Overview

The Consultant will lead the development of a contemporary, PHIPA‑aligned privacy and data governance model to support EHR modernization and digital health transformation initiatives across Ontario.

• Lead development of a contemporary, PHIPA‑aligned privacy and data governance model to support EHR modernization and digital health transformation initiatives across Ontario.
• Provide senior‑level strategic advice.
• Plan and implement support for complex privacy and data governance initiatives at national or international scale.
• Modernize aligned with PHIPA and OPS standards.
• Manage projects involving multifaceted stakeholder landscapes and diverse data ecosystems.
• Act as stakeholder and change manager.
• Participate in program definition and development, transition planning, and organizational culture change.
• Implement information privacy best practices.

• Senior consultant with 10+ years of advanced experience and demonstrable expertise in health privacy, PHIPA compliance, and privacy governance within Ontario’s health system.
• 10+ years of experience working with federal, provincial, and broader public‑sector healthcare providers.
• Knowledge of Public Sector Enterprise Architecture artifacts.
• PMP and PMI certification.
• Experience in privacy impact assessment methodologies, tools and techniques.
• Application of threat and risk analysis principles, program analysis, and business analysis.
• Understanding of policy development to lead or participate in developing options and strategies on information management and privacy protection.
• Stakeholder and change management experience.
