Senior GenAI Engineer (LLMs, RAG)
Location:
Toronto, ON (3 days hybrid onsite)
Duration: 6 months contract with the possibility of extension and conversion to full time
We're looking for a Senior GenAI Engineer having 10+ Years of experience in designing and deploying enterprise-grade AI solutions supporting insurance sales advisors.
What You'll Do- Architect and build RAG-based AI solutions
- Develop scalable GenAI services
- Evaluate and optimize LLM performance
- Implement AI guardrails and monitoring
- Mentor junior team members
- 6+ years in ML/NLP/AI Engineering
- 2+ years working with GenAI/LLMs
- Robust experience with:
- OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Claude, Llama
- RAG, Embeddings, Vector Databases
- Azure Cloud Architecture
- Prompt Engineering & Agentic AI
- LLMOps / GenAIOps
- Production AI Deployments
- Insurance or Financial Services experience
- Power BI / Tableau
- SQL & Data Modeling
