Senior Technology Architect
Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Hybrid (3 days per week in office)
Duration:
July 6, 2026 – July 5, 2027
Hourly Rate: $95/hour – $120/hour (based on experience)

Public Sector
Senior digital solution architect to support public-facing digital solution design and delivery. Environments include Salesforce platforms such as Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, Agentforce, as well as industry‑popular web platform frameworks. Integration design with other systems through middleware/API is also in scope.
Responsibilities- Assess the City’s existing technology solution landscape and architecture with a focus on public-facing digital solutions.
- Develop the City’s target public-facing solution architecture.
- Ensure architecture design aligns with business goals and objectives.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, communicate complex technical concepts in an easy‑to‑understand way, and build consensus.
- Solution architecture design documentation.
- Presentations to project teams and stakeholders.
- At least 10 years of solution architecture experience in a leadership capacity, gained in a complex technological setting, paired with post‑secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Math (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Demonstrated hands‑on knowledge in solution architecture design and system integration, including but not limited to specification, configuration, and implementation.
- Knowledge and experience with the Salesforce platform (Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, Agentforce, etc.) and related solutions.
- Knowledge and experience in industry‑popular web platforms and frameworks.
- Knowledge and experience designing integration through middleware/API.
- Strong customer service orientation and a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships and manage client deliverables and expectations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders, both technical and non‑technical.
- Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, configuration specifications, knowledge articles, and deployment procedures.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a deep attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
