We are seeking an experienced PowerBI Developer with a strong background in SQL, data warehousing, and enterprise analytics. The ideal candidate will excel in designing, developing, and optimizing complex dashboards and reports, while collaborating closely with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights. The role also requires additional expertise in scripting, REST API, and familiarity with Dev Ops practices to support automation, deployment, and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain interactive reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc queries using PowerBI.
- Collaborate with business users and analysts to gather requirements and translate them into data solutions.
- Utilize Power Query, Power Pivot, and data modeling techniques to create efficient data models.
- Develop and optimize DAX queries for performance and analytical depth.
- Create and manage Paginated Reports using PowerBI Report Builder or similar tools.
- Manage and query SQL Server or other relational databases to extract and analyze data.
- Support script‑based jobs and automation workflows through scripting and REST API integrations.
- Assist in deploying solutions using Azure Dev Ops , GIT, and related CI/CD practices.
- Troubleshoot data‑related issues and provide quick resolutions to ensure system reliability.
- Participate in the full project life cycle, from requirement gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Extensive experience in data modeling using Power Query and Power Pivot.
- Proficiency in DAX for creating complex measures and calculated columns.
- Robust SQL skills, especially with SQLServer or similar relational databases, including query optimization.
- Proven experience in developing reports and dashboards for enterprise‑level systems.
- Solid understanding of Fixed Income, Equity, and Derivatives businesses.
- Ability to analyze user requirements, recommend solutions, and implement them effectively.
- Experience supporting REST API integrations and scripting for automation purposes.
- Basic understanding of Dev Ops principles, version control (GIT, Azure Repos), and deployment pipelines.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self‑driven with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Working knowledge of Data Flows within PowerBI.
- Experience with PowerBI Report Server (PBRS).
- Familiarity with PowerBI Service (Power On) and cloud‑based analytics solutions.
- Experience with Snowflake data warehouse or other cloud data platforms.
