Position: Technology Operations Analyst I
Position Summary…
In this role, you support the management of IT assets — hardware, software, products, and services — by tracking and reporting IT asset inventory and deriving IT asset management metrics. You help maintain the accuracy of the asset record, support refresh budget planning, and contribute to the governance and optimization of the technology portfolio

Job Description

This role manages in-scope hardware assets through their entire lifecycle: planning, acquisition, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and disposal. It may also provide governance to ensure asset management processes are adhered to by internal teams and service partners.

The role monitors warranties and maintenance agreements, proactively analyzing asset age, end-of-life (EOL), and end-of-service (EOS) data. It assists with maintaining the hardware and software catalogue — ensuring completeness and accuracy through inventory data cleanup and decommissioning as required — and identifies and resolves discrepancies in the asset record.

The role performs analysis and makes recommendations on software license optimization and licensing position. It maintains hardware and software contract inventory and supplier artifacts, and develops, implements, and monitors best practices for asset renewal analysis, data entry, and lifecycle management.

The role supports long-range refresh budget planning by compiling asset age, cost, and volume data, and tracking actuals against plan. It may create and track purchase orders in SAP, reconciling status against asset records; use discovery tools to reconcile deployed assets against the system of record; and support automation of recurring reporting using AI-enabled tools under senior guidance.

The role performs other duties as may be assigned.
