Technology & Innovation Manager

Elevate parking enforcement technology at the City of Mississauga as the Manager of Technology & Innovation. Lead smart parking systems and enhance service delivery while ensuring system integrity.

This managerial role focuses on planning, integrating, and optimizing parking enforcement technologies. You will oversee the implementation of digital ticketing solutions and smart systems, supporting enforcement teams in their daily operations. A key aspect of this position is to bridge operational needs with technical solutions, enhancing user experience and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise a team for parking enforcement tech operations

• Lead implementation of License Plate Recognition and mobile ticketing

• Manage vendor relationships for technology platforms

• Oversee lifecycle of enforcement IT tools from procurement to deployment

• Develop dashboards and analytics for enforcement productivity

Requirements:

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field

• 5–7 years in technology platform management

• Strong understanding of parking enforcement systems

• Proven experience with vendor and cross-functional team management

• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
