Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced SAP Business Objects (BO) Administrator to manage and support enterprise SAP Business Objects BI environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Business Objects administration, platform installation, upgrades, security, performance tuning, and production support. This role requires hands-on experience administering Business Objects BI Platform components while ensuring high availability, security, and optimal system performance.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain SAP Business Objects (BOBJ) environments across Development, QA, UAT, and Production.
Administer SAP Business Objects BI Platform components, including Central Management Console (CMC), Central Management Server (CMS), Web Intelligence (WebI), and Crystal Reports.
Manage users, groups, roles, folders, and security permissions within the Business Objects platform.
Monitor platform health, server performance, availability, and resource utilization.
Perform Business Objects upgrades, migrations, patch deployments, and platform maintenance activities.
Configure and manage report scheduling, publication, and distribution processes.
Troubleshoot platform, reporting, authentication, and connectivity issues.
Perform CMS repository administration, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
Optimize platform performance through server tuning and resource management.
Support integration with enterprise databases, LDAP, Active Directory, and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions.
Collaborate with BI developers, infrastructure teams, database administrators, and business stakeholders to support reporting solutions.
Manage production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
Develop and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and support procedures.
Ensure compliance with organizational security, governance, audit, and regulatory standards.
Participate in production deployments, release activities, and on-call support.
