Mobile Device Support Specialist

Elevate your career with the City of Mississauga as a Mobile Device Support Specialist. This hybrid role focuses on managing, configuring, and troubleshooting mobile devices and platforms.

Under the direction of the IT Client Computing and Mobility Manager, you will handle the administration and security of MDM platforms like Microsoft Intune and VMware Workspace ONE. Delivering Level 3 support for corporate mobile systems, you will also negotiate vendor contracts and gather business requirements for new mobile initiatives that align with budget constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer Microsoft Intune and VMware Workspace ONE platforms

• Provide Level 3 support for corporate mobile devices

• Monitor mobile devices’ demand and plan capacity accordingly

• Manage vendor relationships and contracts effectively

• Maintain asset management of mobile equipment

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or related field

• 3+ years experience with MDM administration

• Skilled in Microsoft 365, iOS, Android, Windows

• Strong communication and negotiation abilities

• Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
