Our client is a Canadian information technology leader that focuses on the health and financial services sectors.
They develop and manage solutions that automate transactions and the secure exchange of information to increase the process efficiency and quality of service of its customers.
They’re looking for a Tandem QA Analyst for a six month contract
Description
Conduct a wide variety of quality-control tests such as functional, regression and integration
Develop test plans, test cases and test scripts
May participate in and/or manage User Acceptance Testing with customers
Perform analysis to ensure that standards and end‑user requirements are met
Conduct testing according to established procedures
Document problems, retest to ensure problems are solved
Create test data files to test logic and verify flow/functionality
Identify, recommend and implement changes to enhance the effectiveness of quality assurance strategies
Liaise with internal team members, end users and/or other departments as required
Seek and provide candid and timely feedback to improve performance
Ensure commitments to external or internal customers are met in a timely manner
Solicit feedback in order to improve products or services
Build and maintain external and internal relationships
Work autonomously
Make decisions effecting work performed
Qualifications
Must have strong Tandem skills
Experience writing test plans, test cases and reporting test results independently
Full software development lifecycle experience
SQL skills
Good written and communication skills
Excellent technical documentation skills
BASE
24 processing system for financial institutions an asset
Experience with Mercury Test Director preferred
