Kevin D’Souza Insurance Agency is seeking a qualified professional to join their winning team as a Life Insurance Advisor-Desjardins Agent Team member. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in life insurance sales, customer service and sales administration.

Responsibilities

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services relating to – Life, Disability and Critical Illness Insurance products. .
• Educates and advises our clients on our products, while adhering to the company's underwriting policies.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification
• Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
• Lead the team in ensuring the office is meeting its targets and goals with respect to marketing, sales as well as underwriting and compliance requirements in a timely and effective manner.
• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
• Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and everyday

Qualifications:

• LLQP license
• Bilingual – Hindi, Urdu or Punjabi (oral) and English (oral and written)
• Ability to obtain OTL license
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate , or telemarketing ) preferred
• Strong understanding of social media/ technology.
• People-oriented, self-motivated and well-organized with a strong attention to detail
• Proactive in problem-solving, dedicated to customer service with an ability to multi-task competing demands
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Previous insurance experience in various disciplines, such as underwriting, claims, sales or service would be an asset
