Work Conditions: Monday to Friday (Hybrid 3 days in office) 9 AM – 5 PM, weekends as needed.
Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain, the Inventory Coordinator manages mobility inventory across partner retail locations under Bell’s consignment model. Responsibilities include ensuring inventory accuracy, processing returns, resolving issues, forecasting and analyzing store inventory levels, and serving as the single point of contact for inventory-related processes and metrics.
Key Responsibilities
Daily forecasting and replenishment of products to maintain in‑stock levels.
Order tracking to ensure timely receipt and expediting orders when required.
Facilitate store returns and recalls.
Transfer stock between stores to reduce excess inventory.
Communicate order status and issues to the channel in a timely manner.
Launch new products.
Identify areas of opportunity to move business forward.
Problem‑solve all inventory issues related to stores.
Understand iDOC issues related to the consignment model.
Plan accessory inventory for the warehouse.
Specific Accountabilities
Forecasting:
Develop and report weekly metrics.
Regularly review and forecast unit requirements by model and store to ensure product availability.
Ensure promotional in‑stock through accurate forecasting aligned with financial targets.
Inventory Management:
Assist in executing inventory management tactics.
Analyze inventory and recommend actions to the Planning Specialist.
Develop action plans for aged and slow‑selling programs.
Identify and address inventory issues as they arise.
Optimize inventory productivity.
Problem‑solving:
Perform work in context of departmental and company strategic plans.
Collaborate with relevant areas to facilitate flawless execution.
Manage workload to provide cost‑effective use of resources.
Critical Qualifications
Inventory management experience is an asset.
Strong systems and process orientation.
Computer literacy in Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
APICS or CPP certification is an asset.
Knowledge of SAP and Oracle is an asset.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including report preparation.
Open‑minded and creative team player.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Excellent problem‑solving and analytical ability.
Knowledge of English and French required; interaction with French & English‑speaking stakeholders across Canada in both verbal and written forms.
