Job Scope - Summary

We are currently hiring a Distribution Agent for a leading global logistics and freight forwarding company in Mississauga. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to build a long-term career in logistics and supply chain.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic setting, has strong organizational skills, and is eager to grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing exceptional customer service.
Follows customer's standard operating procedures and proactively notifies customers of any issues.
Ensure timely data entry into our operational systems.
Invoices customers the expected charges and according to customer requirements.
Generate daily reports and prepare order documentation
Communicate with customers regarding order status and updates
Ensure accurate billing for clients and vendors.
Coordinate between warehouse staff, vendors, and customers.
Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
Escalate operational issues when necessary
Requirements: 
Qualifications
6 months to 1 year of experience in logistics, supply chain, or administration
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and general computer systems
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
Hazardous Materials certification is an asset
Basic understanding of transportation/logistics processes is preferred
