Parts Specialist for Heavy Equipment

Cobalt Construction Inc. in Whitehorse, Yukon, is seeking a Parts Person (Journeyperson or Equivalent). Bring your strong parts management skills to support our demanding fleet operations.

As our Parts Person, you will play a key role in ensuring that our teams have necessary materials for optimal workflow. Candidates should have a minimum of 3–5 years experience in heavy equipment, mining, or construction parts environments. Strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting are essential to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and order parts for heavy equipment and vehicles

• Maintain and manage inventory levels effectively

• Build relationships with suppliers and vendors

• Coordinate urgent parts procurement for remote sites

• Process returns and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Parts Technician certification preferred

• 3–5 years of experience in relevant fields

• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment components

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with clean record
