Wesco Buyer Position

Wesco is looking for a Buyer in Mississauga, Ontario, to manage procurement efficiently in a hybrid work setting. You will oversee purchase orders, inventory accuracy, and supplier communications.

In this full-time role, you are responsible for expediting orders, maintaining precise records, and tracking deliveries while adhering to established guidelines. Your adeptness in inventory management and purchasing concepts will ensure that operations run smoothly. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve issues and optimize order fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review purchasing reports and create documents for suppliers

• Minimize working capital investment while maintaining stock

• Execute stock replenishment and special order buying decisions

• Guarantee compliance with purchase order terms and costs

• Follow up on order status and shipping error notifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or similar field

• 1 year of experience in purchasing required

• Knowledge of procurement processes and performance measures

• Strong communication skills for supplier interaction

• Proficient in purchasing systems and data analysis
