Mississauga Panel Shop Technical Buyer

Actemium in Mississauga is looking for a Technical Buyer to manage critical purchasing functions for the panel shop. This permanent, full-time position focuses on sourcing and procurement in the automation sector.

You will lead the commercial buying process for various panel shop materials, ensuring precise BOM pricing and supplier performance monitoring. Your insights into supplier responsiveness and pricing accuracy will greatly enhance operational capabilities. Engage with project managers and engineering teams to align procurement efforts with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle procurement processes for panel shop automation components

• Analyze supplier quotes for pricing and lead-times

• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and escalate issues

• Maintain accurate financial records for purchase orders

• Collaborate on project handoff discussions with stakeholders

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of experience in procurement or technical buying

• Ability to read and interpret BOMs and electrical drawings

• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Diploma in Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering
