Location: Mississauga, Ontario (on-site)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM; 1-hour unpaid lunch
Compensation: $55,000-$60,000 base salary

As they continue to grow, they’re looking for a proactive and resourceful Customs and Logistics Coordinator to join their collaborative, fast-paced team.
Position Overview:
Accurate customs and product information is essential to keeping cross-border operations moving smoothly. As the Customs and Logistics Coordinator, you’ll make sure the company’s material and product records are complete, accurate, and ready to support import logistics, customs compliance, tariff calculations, and internal decision-making.
You’ll maintain key information such as HS codes, country and region of origin, material composition, weight, value, and other customs-related details within the company’s ERP system. The information you manage will help the Logistics and Sales teams respond accurately to questions about tariffs, duties, and product costs.
This is an import-focused role that combines customs data management with inbound logistics coordination and service-parts purchasing. You’ll prepare and maintain import documentation, work with customs brokers and freight forwarders, and manage purchase orders for parts required to support customer service requests.
You’ll work closely with Engineering, Warehouse, Sales, Procurement, and Logistics, giving you the opportunity to build a strong understanding of the company’s products and become a trusted internal resource for customs and logistics information.
What We're Looking For:
We’re looking for someone with 2-3 years of experience in customs coordination, import logistics, trade compliance, customs brokerage, or a related cross-border role.
You’ve worked with international shipments and understand how HS classification, country of origin, product materials, and trade agreements affect duties and tariffs. You’re comfortable investigating incomplete information, working with large sets of data, and collaborating with technical and operational teams to find accurate answers.
You’re someone who takes pride in getting the details right. You’re organized, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership of information that other teams rely on.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Research, determine, validate, and maintain the appropriate Harmonized System (HS) classifications for parts and materials.
- Maintain accurate product and material data within the company’s ERP system, including HS codes, country and region of origin, material composition, metal content, weight, value, and other customs-related information.
- Ensure new part records include the information required to support customs classification, duty and tariff calculations, and CUSMA eligibility.
- Review existing inventory records and correct missing, outdated, or inconsistent product and customs data.
- Partner with Engineering to understand each part’s function, materials, construction, and product family when additional technical information is needed.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse team to identify, group, and weigh parts when product information needs to be confirmed or updated.
- Use Excel formulas and structured spreadsheets to organize, compare, validate, and prepare large volumes of information for ERP updates.
- Prepare, review, and maintain import-related documentation and records.
- Coordinate and track inbound import shipments to support the timely arrival of materials and service parts.
- Liaise with customs brokers and freight forwarders to provide information, respond to questions, and resolve import or classification issues.
- Monitor relevant changes to tariff codes, CUSMA requirements, and other customs or trade regulations, applying updates to product records and internal processes where required.
