DSV is hiring a Customs Expert for our Mississauga location. Join a team that values diversity and manages international shipments efficiently.
As a Customs Specialist with DSV, you will play a crucial role in setting up and releasing shipments that come into Canada. Your insights and proactive problem-solving will help maintain compliance and streamline processing for various accounts. This position is ideal for someone with experience in customs brokerage who enjoys working in a teamwork-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage setup and release of shipments
• Assist with complex shipment management
• Track incoming shipments and inform clients
• Provide accounting completion to CBSA
• Coordinate payments to steamship lines and agencies
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent education
• 3-5 years experience in freight forwarding
• Actively pursuing CCS designation
• Exceptional English language skills
• Excellent planning and multitasking capabilities
