Lead logistics operations from Mississauga, overseeing distribution centers, profitability, customer satisfaction, and teams across Canadian facilities with travel flexibility.
This Director of Operations role supports a growing global logistics organization transforming its Canadian operations. You will oversee multiple distribution centers, lead site managers, and influence approximately 300400 employees. Strategic oversight, P&L accountability, customer relationships, and continuous improvement define the mandate.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee distribution center performance, financial accountability, and service excellence
- Own portfolio P&L and improve profitability, productivity, and cost efficiency
- Coach managers while strengthening engagement, succession planning, and team performance
- Lead contract reviews, negotiations, customer relationships, and escalations
- Champion change management, automation, continuous improvement, and QSHE compliance
- Seven-plus years of progressive 3PL or contract logistics experience
- Two-plus years in senior leadership with complex distribution oversight
- Commercial acumen across contracts, vendors, KPIs, SLAs, and presentations
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, logistics, or related field
- Willingness to travel and respond to occasional after-hours emergencies
