Janitor at Remote Mining Facilities

Become a Janitor at remote Northern SK mining sites, contributing to cleanliness and sanitation in essential environments. This role requires a detail-oriented approach and the ability to work independently.

You will report to the janitorial manager and undertake daily cleaning duties at various sites, including exploration camps and office buildings. Efficiency, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of safety protocols are critical for success. Adaptability to a compressed work schedule is essential for this challenging role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and wash all floors diligently

• Dust surfaces and vacuum rugs and carpets

• Sanitize assigned areas methodically

• Manage garbage collection and disposal

• Follow ACLP policies in all cleaning tasks

Requirements:

• One year of experience in janitorial work preferred

• Ability to obtain first-aid certification

• Knowledge of WHMIS safety procedures

• Preferred valid Class 5 driver’s license

• Must pass drug and alcohol screening prior to employment

Your role will ensure essential cleanliness and contribute to effective operations within the mining facilities.
