Role Description  This is a full-time, live-in Superintendent role based in Mississauga, ON. The Superintendent is responsible for the daily upkeep, cleanliness, and basic maintenance of the residential property, including common areas, grounds, and building systems within their skill level. Responsibilities include responding promptly to resident service requests, performing minor repairs, coordinating access for contractors, and monitoring building safety and security.

The role also includes regular inspections of units and common areas, assisting with move-ins and move-outs, and supporting compliance with health, safety, and building regulations. The Superintendent will work closely with the property management team, maintain accurate logs of work completed, and provide courteous, professional service to all residents and visitors.
Qualifications   Ability to perform basic maintenance and repairs (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting) and use common tools safely and effectively.
Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and respond to urgent building or resident issues.
Customer service skills, including clear communication, patience, and a professional, respectful approach to residents and colleagues.
Familiarity with residential building operations, safety procedures, and basic knowledge of applicable building and fire codes.
Comfort with basic administrative tasks such as logging work orders, reporting issues, and communicating with the property management office.
Ability to work on-site, including evenings or weekends as required for on-call emergencies or scheduled maintenance.
Previous experience as a Superintendent, Building Operator, or in residential property management is an asset.
Physical ability to perform duties such as lifting, carrying, standing, and using ladders as required for building upkeep.
