Vibrant Community Maintenance Worker Position

Support Vibrant Community Health as a Maintenance Worker, ensuring cleanliness and safety at their North Toronto Health Centre. Engage in essential maintenance and repair activities.

This part-time Relief Maintenance Worker role focuses on the upkeep of the facility located at Yonge & Eglinton. Responsibilities include performing general repairs, maintaining supplies, and ensuring that sanitation standards are met. The position also involves participating in inspections and team meetings to uphold quality and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute preventative maintenance and facility repairs

• Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and cleaning tools

• Coordinate emergency system tests in partnership with the Administrator

• Maintain high cleanliness standards across all areas

• Provide upkeep for gardens and site cleanliness

Requirements:

• Diploma in a relevant discipline or comparable experience

• 3-5 years of maintenance experience in health settings

• Knowledgeable about safety standards

• Must be available for varying daytime shifts

• Attend staff and operations meetings as needed
