Housekeeping Part-Time Positions

Position Overview
Square One is seeking part‑time Housekeeping staff to maintain high cleaning standards within the Shopping Centre. This role requires flexible hours/days and consists of 24.5–26 hours per week. The hourly rate is $24.73 per hour.

Candidate will be responsible for:

Emptying garbage containers and replacing liners.

Sweeping floor areas and dusting high areas.

Mopping floor debris and spills, both wet and dry.

Cleaning washrooms—floors, sinks, mirrors, toilets, partitions, and replenishing paper and soap products.

Cleaning mall elements—including furniture, waste collection containers, lights, fire hose cabinets, and telephones.

Cleaning elevators, escalator glass and associated panels.

Cleaning service corridors and mall entrances.

Cleaning mall glass, including metal frames.

Qualifications

High School/Secondary Diploma.

Knowledge of WHMIS legislation.

At least 2 years of prior housekeeping experience.

Good communication skills.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Ability to walk long distances on hard flooring.

Ability to work off a ladder (between 6–8 ft) to clean hard‑to‑reach areas.

Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
