Experienced Maintenance Technician

Take the lead as a Maintenance Technician II at our facility in Mississauga.

Your role involves ensuring production equipment meets safety standards and performing vital maintenance tasks effectively.

Reporting to the Facilities and Maintenance Supervisor, you will coordinate maintenance activities and troubleshoot all building and production equipment. With your minimum of two years in facilities maintenance, especially in a food service environment, you're positioned to drive safety compliance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure production equipment meets regulatory safety standards

• Execute preventive and predictive maintenance checklists

• Troubleshoot and prioritize maintenance problems

• Oversee maintenance of distribution center equipment

• Train new hires and Maintenance Associates effectively

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma in Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering

• Minimum 2 years of facilities maintenance experience

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a refrigerated environment

• Flexibility for varying shifts and overtime

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
