Part-Time Operations Staff

Become a vital part of the City of Mississauga as a part-time Operations Staff member. This role focuses on maintaining safe, clean environments at community centers, pools, and ice rinks.

The City of Mississauga is hiring 27 part-time Community Centre Operations Staff for Fall 2026. Successful candidates will engage in cleaning, safety checks, and basic maintenance duties across various facilities. Strong customer service and teamwork skills are essential, along with the ability to work weekends and rotating shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning duties across community centers and pools

• Enforce safety protocols and conduct safety checks

• Maintain ice surfaces during public skating

• Assist with basic pool maintenance and chemical handling

• Provide excellent customer service to facility patrons

Requirements:

• Minimum age of 15 with physical work capability

• Previous community center experience preferred

• Emergency First Aid / CPR certification required

• WHMIS certification desirable

• Team-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision
