Custodian Position Schools

Join Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board as a Custodian inic CES. This full-time role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and compliance with safety standards in a vibrant educational setting.

As a Custodian, you will work alongside custodial staff to uphold the cleanliness of school facilities, encompassing a significant area. Your duties include addressing maintenance issues, clearing walkways in winter, and keeping both indoor and outdoor environments safe and tidy. The scheduled work hours are from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure cleanliness of school buildings and equipment

• Communicate equipment issues to supervisors

• Remove hazardous materials from school grounds

• Manage winter maintenance like snow removal

• Assist with groundskeeping duties as needed

Requirements:

• Must possess a Secondary School Diploma

• Cleaning or custodial experience preferred

• Excellent interpersonal abilities

• Capable of prioritizing tasks independently

• Must follow health and safety labor standards
