Position: Laundry and Housekeeping Aide Needed
Become a vital part of our caring team as a Laundry and Housekeeping Aide. This role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and ensuring residents have clean linens and personal clothing.

Under the supervision of the Assistant Administrator/Manager, you will split your time between laundry duties and housekeeping. Key responsibilities include sorting and cleaning personal and facility linens while ensuring compliance with safety protocols. You'll also handle equipment and chemicals safely, and maintain a tidy work environment throughout your shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort items and follow laundering instructions

• Operate machines and perform basic repairs on clothing

• Ensure cleanliness of work areas and equipment

• Communicate any equipment malfunctions to management

• Maintain confidentiality and comply with safety regulations

Requirements:

• Knowledge of laundry and housekeeping operations

• Previous experience in laundry services is an asset

• English language proficiency required

• Capability to work all shifts and weekends

• Must obtain a recent Vulnerable Sector Check
