Compensation: $23-27/hr

Schedule: Casual Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Build strong relationships, listen intently, and utilize clear & transparent communication.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as inspecting, cleaning, and lubricating machinery and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, facilities, and equipment to identify and address any issues or potential hazards.
• Perform minor carpentry, painting, and masonry work to maintain the appearance and functionality of structures.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants, employees, or management.
• Maintain and clean commercial cleaning equipment
• Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with other members of the maintenance team or external contractors on larger projects or repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in maintenance work areas.
• Perform emergency repairs or maintenance outside of regular working hours as necessary.
• Stay informed about new technologies and best practices in maintenance and repair.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and tenants to coordinate work and address concerns.
• Adhere to budgetary constraints and seek cost-effective solutions for maintenance issues.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with others.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Knowledge in janitorial
• Supervisor experience is an asset
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.
• Must have a valid driver licence.
