As a Light Duty Custodian, your primary focus will be to keep all assigned areas clean and welcoming. Duties include mopping, washing washrooms, and maintaining overall hygiene. In addition, you will efficiently manage your cleaning materials while reporting any equipment issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete routine cleaning of all assigned spaces
• Sweep and mop floors thoroughly each shift
• Ensure proper disposal of waste materials
• Maintain a clean and functional working condition for all equipment
• Notify supervisors about required repairs or replacements
Requirements:
• Successful completion of a Canadian Background Check
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation methods essential
• WHMIS Certification is beneficial
• Good physical condition for mobility and cleaning tasks
• Capacity to lift 50lbs when required
