Environmental Services Manager Long Term Care

Manage environmental services at Age Care Wenleigh, coordinating housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance operations in a regular full-time position. Support clean, safe, and comfortable resident surroundings.

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Environmental Services Manager oversees service delivery within the long-term care home. The position coordinates preventive maintenance, supplies, contractors, schedules, reports, and auditing. It also supports Infection Prevention and Control practices and legislative requirements.

• Manage housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance operations
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs and building systems
• Coordinate contractors and external service providers
• Maintain staff schedules and duty assignments
• Implement environmental services auditing programs

• Minimum two years of supervisory experience
• Managerial or supervisory experience in healthcare or relevant settings
• Knowledge of long-term care legislation
• Understanding of occupational health and safety requirements
• Knowledge of maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry procedures
