Industrial Cleaning Technician responsible for heavy duty machines, high dusting, garbage handling, and detailed building sanitation.
GDI supports customer facilities through integrated maintenance services and established cleaning practices. This position removes waste, replaces liners, washes walls, cleans entrance glass, and maintains washrooms and interior surfaces. Duties include lifting up to 50 pounds and traveling between buildings across the street.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate heavy duty machines for assigned cleaning work
- High dust and wash walls, including compactors
- Lift materials up to 50 pounds during cleaning
- Wash entrance doors, glass, trim, and windowsills
- Monitor defects and report issues to supervisors
- Follow direction while completing work with minimal supervision
- Function cooperatively as part of a team
- Use cleaning tools and equipment effectively
- Provide own transportation between the two buildings
- Pass a Criminal Background Check before employment
