Plan, organize and manage the work of unionized employees;Ensure that staff members comply with policies, administrative procedures, safety rules, collective agreements and government regulations;Act as a resource person for all employees in the assigned territory;Collaborate with other supervisors and staff to establish and implement policies, procedures and objectives;Promote safe work practices, by conducting safety audits, participating in company safety meetings, and meeting one-on-one with staff members;Monitor expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgets;Conduct investigations to verify and resolve customer or shipper complaints;Collaborate with internal or external stakeholders to determine the causes of accidents that occur during transport and improve safety procedures;Participate in the disciplinary process or the settlement of grievances;All other related tasks.What we are looking for:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in personnel management in a unionized environment
;Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook;Valid Class G Drivers License with 3 or less demeritsPossession of a valid Non-Restricted and Restricted Firearms License (PAL: Possession & Acquisitions License)Very good leadership, negotiation, and judgment skills;Strong focus on teamwork and partnership;Sense of urgency, exceptional communication and problem-solving skillsCritical thinking and active listening developed.Are you dynamic, autonomous and results-oriented?
