Aviation Duty Manager

Lead Swissport ramp operations with resource planning and safety leadership across ground handling services. This duty manager role supports consistent customer service.

Under the Station Manager, the Duty Manager efficiently and profitably directs ramp activities. The position oversees daily operations, staffing, scheduling, safety, quality, and customer relations. It also manages payroll updates, Dayforce personnel changes, performance indicators, training, and station health, safety, and environmental activities.

• Direct daily ramp operations and staff assignments
• Plan manpower, equipment, and operational schedules
• Maintain customer, company, safety, and quality standards
• Monitor and report agreed key performance indicators
• Complete incident reports and coach employees

• Minimum three years’ ground handling or ramp experience
• Personnel management experience in a unionized environment
• Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and airside permit D/A
• Flexible availability for varied operational shifts
