Operations Manager – Manufacturing (Commercial Windows & Doors)

Mississauga, ON (Dixie& Derry area)
Shift
:
Monday–Friday (7:30am – 5pm)
Some Saturdays required during peak periods or mandatory training
Compensation: $70,000 per year, based on experience
About the Role
Our client, a commercial window and door manufacturer in Mississauga, is seeking an operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations within their warehouse.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manufacturing, glazing, and curtain wall systems, along with strong leadership and organizational skills.
This role is best suited for someone who can help coordinate and communicate with suppliers, customers, and the employees. The perfect person would be able to manage the production schedule – working with owners and Forman to ensure scheduling is done to coordinate lead times. This person needs to be able to assist all departments and ensure all areas within the manufacturing and warehouse systems are running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee all warehouse and fabrication operations including receiving, inventory, production, and shippingManage fabrication machinery, tools, and equipment to support daily productionSupervise and coach warehouse and production staffMaintain SOPs and enforce safety, quality, and productivity standardsCoordinate with purchasing and production teams to ensure material availability and scheduling efficiencyMonitor KPIs and identify process improvements to support growth and efficiencyWhat We’re Looking For
3–5 years of experience in manufacturing and commercial windows/doorsStrong knowledge of fabrication processes, glazing systems, and machineryProven experience managing teams in a warehouse or production environmentProficient in Microsoft Office, QUICKBOOKS and familiar with inventory or ERP systemsExcellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late days, or Saturdays when requiredInterested and qualified candidates, please to apply!
