Job Description  Power Bus Way Ltd. manufactures electrical power distribution equipment in Mississauga. We are seeking a  CNC Programmer  to support our engineering and fabrication departments by providing expertise in CNC programming, manufacturing processes, and production efficiencies.
Hours of Work  Monday to Thursday: 8am – 5pm
Friday: 8am – 12pm

Responsibilities   Program various machines including Amada Turret punches (EMK 3612), Amada Ensis Laser, and Flow Waterjet (Single/Dual head).
Interpret mechanical design drawings and specifications.
Select appropriate machine tooling to manufacture parts cost-effectively.
Design and request procurement of necessary tools.
Prepare detailed work instructions and setup sheets.
Utilize software and experience to improve run times and programming efficiency.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Skills   Minimum of 5 years experience in CNC programming within a metal fabrication environment.
Strong computer skills and knowledge of metal manufacturing processes.
Ability to demonstrate good manufacturing practices and select appropriate tooling.
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles for interpreting technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models for sheet metal fabrication.
Understanding of raw materials, production processes, bend deductions, tooling, quality control, and cost optimization.
Effective time management and organization skills.
Dependability and thoroughness in task completion.
Engineering background with strong mechanical aptitude is advantageous.

Experience with various machinery, fabrication practices, and materials.
Ability to integrate existing methods with innovative solutions to solve production problems efficiently.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Solid Works/Inventor, Amada Software, Blueprint reading, and GD&T.
Team-oriented with a collaborative approach.
