Aircraft Mechanic (unlicenced) - YYZ support Contractual
We are seeking for highly skilled Aircraft Mechanics to perform hands‑on maintenance, servicing, and repair of aircraft engines. The role involves both shop‑based and on‑wing/on‑site work, requiring strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and strict adherence to aviation safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance, servicing, and repair of aircraft engines in accordance with applicable qualifications and authorizations
Conduct engine and module disassembly, assembly, and inspection activities
Carry out hands‑on mechanical tasks in the shop and during on‑wing and on‑site assignments
Read and know how to interpret equipment manuals, technical documentation, and work orders
Diagnose engine and component issues, replace or repair parts, perform testing, and make required adjustments
Identify errors or non‑conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented through proper departmental processes
Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations
Qualifications & Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of industry experience with strong knowledge of aircraft engine systems, including jet and/or piston engines
Previous experience in aircraft maintenance or a related field, preferably with specific aircraft or engine types
High school diploma or GED required
College degree or vocational/technical training required;
Bachelor’s degree considered an asset
Fluent in English (reading and writing required)
Proficient user of MS Office
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Excellent knowledge of aviation safety and security regulations
High level of commitment, flexibility, and reliability
Experience/rating for Boeing 777 & 787 platforms highly desired
