Hours:

40 hours per week. Work site environment:
Noisy, at heights, confined spaces.

• Read blueprints to determine work requirements.
• Assemble and fit pre‑fabricated parts to form subassemblies.
• Assemble, fit and install pre‑fabricated parts and subassemblies.
• Inspect aircraft assemblies for adherence to engineering specifications.
• Inspect assemblies for alignment, symmetry, dimensions, fit, and quality of workmanship.
• Supervise aircraft assemblers and aircraft assembly inspectors, oversee use of equipment and machinery, including power tools.

• Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience.
• Avionics maintenance technology or technician background.
• Aeronautics / aviation / aerospace science and technology, general knowledge.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in aircraft/aerospace manufacturing, structural repair, composite structures, repair, assembly line, hydraulic systems, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with aircraft manufacturing, aviation/aerospace repair and overhaul.
• Strong attention to detail, physically able to handle heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, and a team player.
• Valid criminal record check.
• Authorized to work in Canada.
• No required Canadian work experience.
