OTI Lumionics is developing advanced materials—by design—using quantum simulations, machine learning and real-world testing in pilot production. We are currently focused on key enabling materials for OLED displays that will be used in next-generation consumer electronics and automotive. Our advanced electrode materials, and associated manufacturing technology, are being used to build transparent displays and lighting. We work closely with our partners and customers to design new materials that are mass-production ready.
Using our computational Materials Discovery Platform, we are able to rapidly iterate new materials, allowing fast turn around time to meet our customers’ needs.

Primary Responsibilities
Operating production equipment in accordance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Performing routine maintenance and calibration of production equipment
Documenting and reporting batch records accurately and in a timely manner
Following safety guidelines and maintaining cleanliness on the production floor
Ensuring adherence to established SOPs when processing, collecting, and packaging product batches
Maintaining proficiency in the operation and basic maintenance of relevant production equipment
Assisting in the preparation of procedures, protocols, and reports for new product batches
Assisting in identifying and implementing processes or equipment changes to improve quality, efficiency, or regulatory compliance
Supporting the team on various ongoing projects
Performing all tasks in accordance with established Safe Work Practices and Standard Operating Procedures
Ensuring compliance with environmental policies, procedures, and objectives, and actively participate in the identification and reduction of environmental impacts related to the role
Adhering to health and safety protocols, reporting hazards, and contributing to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees
Performing other ad hoc duties as assigned
Profile
Post-Secondary Degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing, pharmaceutical and/or GMP regulated facility
Required Skills
Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations
Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices and the ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures
Highly developed mindset of quality, regulatory and production
Detail oriented and well organized, with a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multi-task, meet tight timelines in a fast-paced environment
Proven problem-solving abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability to independently lift up to 8 kg confidently
Willingness to work extended hours as required
Ability to work all shifts, including morning and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays
The following will be considered as an asset
Cleanroom experience
Experience operating vacuum equipment
Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 a year
