Position Summary
Magellan Aerospace, Mississauga has a great opportunity for a  Chemical Technician - Senior . This position will be responsible for maintaining chemical tanks to laboratory requirements.

Compensation: $35.16 / hour

Essential Responsibilities

Maintaining or and Responsibilities Operating Chemical Laboratory Equipment

Set up and perform instrument tests, checks on specific equipment

Detail or perform chemical of analysis

Make-up & standardization of Laboratory Reagents, and Maintain Shelf-life

Perform Salt Spray, spectrographic, colorimetric, volumetric, heat resistance, adhesion, bend test and evaluation &hydrogen-ion tests

Assist in the development of procedures

Follow in SOP the & QAP's development as per job requirements.

Position Requirements

4-year College Diploma in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering

3-5 years work experience preferably Aerospace or Manufacturing sector

Knowledge of metal cleaning and or finishing

Operate laboratory scale, processing baths for electroplating, anodizing, degreasing, etching & cleaning of materials. Devising and testing suitable analytical techniques when necessary.

Prepare presentation of data in the form of graphs, tables & charts
