Responsibilities

Program a variety of CNC machines, including Amada Turret punches.

Interpret mechanical design drawings and specifications.

Apply machine tooling selections to manufacture parts cost‑effectively.

Design and request procurement of tools as necessary.

Prepare detailed standardized work instructions and set‑up sheets.

Utilize software and experience to continuously improve run time and programming time.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Attention to detail.

Strong computer and metal manufacturing skills.

Demonstrated good manufacturing practices and appropriate tooling for specific tasks.

Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production.

Interpretation of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models for sheet metal fabrication.

Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, bend deductions, turret punch press tooling, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacture of goods.

Time management; ability to organize tasks by importance and use time effectively to complete all work promptly.

Dependability; reliable, responsible, and thorough in completing all tasks.

Mechanical aptitude; engineering experience/background is helpful.

Experience with various machinery, fabrication practices, and materials.

Ability to integrate existing methods with innovation to solve production problems efficiently.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Solid Works, Amada Software, blueprint reading, and GD&T.

Team‑work orientation; ability to collaborate in a supportive environment.

Education

Minimum of 3 years working with programming in a metal fabrication environment.

Salary Range
$34.00–$37.00 hourly.
